King Shepherd puppies first days here
Posted on July 14th, 2026
Our King Shepherd puppies was born on July 12th 2026 through C Cection. We got to knew in the vet, after problems arised with labor, that uterus was twisted and we ended up with ccection. All went well and now we have 6 King Shepherd puppies with different colors.
As Sako is first time mom and wasn't able to give birth naturally, then after she woke up, she didn't recognized her puppies :( when she was still under anesthesia, I had to lift her to the whelping den and put her to lay down on her side. Thank God, she didn't show any aggression towards King Shepherd puppies and just let them eat. This made me a little bit worried as I started already to imagine that we need to start to feed puppies by ourselves and it means every 2 hours 24/7 during 2 weeks. I was sleeping in the puppy room to be sure that all will be ok and if needed to keep Sako there to feed her puppies. Over night all changed, Sako came out of anesthesia and suddenly recognized that those small living things there are her own blood and flesh :) she turned out be one of the best moms :)
